My trip to Prague Czech was amazing experienced..
3 Nights and 4 days in Prag. We took Czech Airlines from Arlanda Stockholm and the flight was about 2 hrs long. The plane was nice and the crews are helpful too. When we reached Prag Airport the first thing we did was took out some money from the ATM at the Airport and it's works very well. Then we proceed to the Taxi yellow cab booth and ordered one. Be sure that the taxi is marked AAA because they are often serious and most recommended taxi.
We stayed at the La Botique Hotel located in Praha 5 just beside Staropramen brewery. The hotel is very well for the price we paid, clean and newly renovated but unfortunately isolation of the windows were very bad. The hotel is just beside the highway so it was imposible for us to sleep for the first night. Anyway, Praha 5 is the best place to stay and very accessible to all kinds of public transportations, walking distance to most popular tourist spots.
The Carls Bridge is just an amazing, very historical bridge to go, with plenty of details that tells you allot of stories. To the Old Town were you can see fantastic old buildings, Astronomical Clock which you can not just stop looking at it. Just an amazing little city. We had our first dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe just beside Astronomical Clock but the food wasn't good. We never went back there again. At the night time we went out walking on the Carls Bridge and the scenery was just fantastic. The colorful well lighted bridges and overlooking to the Prag Castle was just amazing view.
2nd day we went out walking to our distination to the little old town on the other side of the town. Walking along the shopping street from modern to antiques shops and botique. Up to the helltop until you get to Prague Castle, which also give you the greatest views. Well so much walking untill our knees and feets are aching so we did stop at the best View Points were you can see the whole town. The best thing we ever done for the rest of the day was having a Dinner Buffe Crossing on the River. Recommendable.
3rd days we bought 24hrs public transportation tickets and just expoloring the City by Train and by buss just lovely. Then we went out visiting The Torture museum but not much to see not recommendable. Then shopping at Praha 5 shopping mall. We went out having Dinner somewhere in Andel I couldn't remmember the name of the restaurant. It was an italian place the food was good but very big portion, price was cheap also.
4th Day, We wake up early and continue using the last hours of our tickets for the trains and exploring the rest of the City. Then home to Sweden.
I highly recommended PRAGUE beautiful place to visit.
