Travelling with my 5 months old to The Philippines


Travelling with infant was not that scary as I'd think. I was very worried of everything so it took us time to decide whether we will travel or not. Specially Philippines is a very long journey from Sweden. But then  yes, we made it! And it went very good and our trip was memorable one . We stayed in Bohol Philippines for 5.5 weeks. 

At first I prepared a list for medicine kit for my baby. I did asked the pharmacy for help and of course our health center for some advices. My daughter get her 2nd vaccine before we leave as well.  I do not worry about her food because she is on breastfeed.                   

Before I decided buying our plane tickets I do the research first as everyone does. Specially that I am flying with my infant so its more extra careful for me and I read some positive and negative comments from flyer's of different airlines. But the only airline that has much positive comments is Emirates so we decided to fly with Emirates Airlines . Ja its true Emirates is children friendly flight specially for my infant. We have à nice flight with Emirates. They provided us a basinette and we had à good sets. Unfortunately our child do not like to sleep in the basinette through the whole flight so i have to carry her all the time. On the way down to the Philippines we been abled to bring with us inside her baby car set then she could abled to slept in it. But the flight was full so we put her on the floor but then the flight attendant was not glad because its against their security policy so we have to bring her up and we put away her set.
We received à free baby blanket , toys and a kit of toiletry for both flights. The staff are so kind and they're taking time to play with the kids and talk to them. In other words even though they have allot of works to do but they pay attentions to young flyers and that I appreciated allot. So next
 time we will fly Emirates again for sure.

Apo Island

WE are back to the Philippines ! Hello 2018 January Apo Island This time we stop in Dumaguete for 2 nights before we proceed to our next adventure destination SIPALAY. We are staying here on the little paradise Thalata Beach Resort right infront of Apo Island. We have fantastic view from our room over Apo island. Beautiful little place, quite & relaxing. They have good food too. The staff are friendly and helpful. Today at 8.30 in the morning we went out to Apo Island for Island Hoping and snorkling. We went together with a couple of divers which Thalata has arranged. It went cheaper for us. We paid 1000pesos each includes gears for snorkling. The boat was huge so I felt more secure because I am a little bit scared of the heavy waves today. They're were huge due to East Monsoon wind. Really wavy.
